What is an IPE-beam?
IPE stands for European I-Section. It is a hot-rolled steel beam with an I-shaped cross-section. Thanks to this shape, the beam combines a relatively low weight with a high load-bearing capacity. Depending on your logistics process and the load on the mezzanine floor, we recommend the appropriate type of structural beam. In our projects, we work with, among others:
- HEA beams, suitable as columns or uprights
- HEB beams, suitable for heavy loads

The precision of the rolling process ensures that the beams conform exactly to established European dimensions. This is important for load-bearing capacity and for connecting to other steel components within the mezzanine.
Because we collaborate with a specialized steel manufacturer, the IPE sections are produced to specification and prepared for further processing in your mezzanine floor. This includes sawing, drilling, and, if necessary, coating in the desired color.
