PROJECT ENGINEER INTERNSHIP
Mezzanine floors and steel structures | full-time or part-time
Are you studying mechanical engineering, civil engineering or a similar technical degree programme and looking for a hands-on internship? At Almacon, you’ll have the opportunity to work on challenging engineering projects for clients in the Netherlands and abroad. You’ll discover how technical designs are brought to life and gain valuable insight into the role of a project engineer.
At our modern office in Hazerswoude-Dorp, near Boskoop, we offer you an internship where you can gain practical experience and further develop your skills.
What will you be doing?
During your internship in our engineering department, you’ll contribute to the design and structural calculations of mezzanine floors and steel structures. Your tasks will include performing technical calculations and creating 2D and 3D drawings using BricsCAD and Tekla.
You’ll also gain insight into the entire project process, from quotations and purchasing to final delivery. You’ll work on real projects under the guidance of our experienced engineers, giving you the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in practice.
What do you bring to the team?
You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering or a related technical field. You have a good understanding of engineering principles, are eager to learn and enjoy working with colleagues to develop technical solutions. You are also comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

- Internship allowance: Starting from €500 per month (full-time), with the possibility of an increase based on your performance.
- Travel allowance: €0.23 per kilometre or a fixed allowance for public transport.
